Problem: Planning and traveling to large public events costs big money, consumes time and energy, negatively impacts the environment and creates security issues. Also, as the numbers of Ron Paul supporters increases the practicality of having everyone congregate at one location decreases to the point where, of necessity, alternative ways of meeting will need to be addressed. The virtual world of the internet is the mainstay of the Ron Paul campaign and should be expanded upon so that the Ron Paul message and image can reach out to more people using less time and money while increasing the impact, energy and excitement of the experience of the message.
Solution: We can use state of the art existing 'off the shelf' video conferencing technology which enables up to sixteen presenters in different locations worldwide to simultaneously communicate 'live' to an unlimited number of viewers. Whatever the presenter can put on their desktop [audio's, videos, graphics, power points, spreadsheets, documents etc.] or in front of a video camera will be seen and heard by all participants at once. Participant Forum seats cost about $5 each per Event .
Viewers merely log the internet by computer and participate interactively or passively. No special software is required. A guest list can be generated to control participants entering the virtual event. Fees can be charged and paid on line in advance if needed. All controls are in the hands of presenters. The event is secure and can be private or public.

This is a great way for the Ron Paul Campaign or grassroots groups to connect and communicate with all meetups and communities worldwide with a series of ongoing virtual events. All participants need to do is stay home and log in with a DSL or better internet connection. Audience participation can be interactive and audience feedback can be rated and documented by means of keyboard entry.
For non-computer individuals and for introducing the message to the community at large, a local meetup can reserve a local facility, or meet in a home and invite members of the community to a virtual event by setting up a large screen or monitor along with speakers and microphones.
This can truly be a Ron Paul Revolution Media Network that will counterbalance the mainstream corporate media networks. It can provide an alternative to the information and entertainment available to the world.
